Mother’s Day| Lessons I Learned From My Mother

Clouds are dancing in the drizzling rain, the flowers are blooming, and caterpillar turned into a butterfly. The season is taking a new turn, do you know why? Yes – because, it’s Mother’s Day! The Mother’s Day is a day when we pay tribute to all mothers, without whom our lives would be incomplete.

My mother is an incredibly strong woman.  The lessons she taught me have helped and guided me throughout my life.

Every day, I feel blessed for the wise lessons and unconditional love she gave me. These are the things we all take for granted while growing up.

In honor of all mothers, today I would like to share a few lessons I learned from my mother.

Work hard

Nothing will come to you with ease. You have to work hard to achieve your goals. Work will give meaning to your life. Never work for the appreciation, always work to make yourself a better and independent human. It will help you to prosper and grow in life.

Keep your family your first priority

Always remember your family is your topmost priority; they are your support system in the nasty world. Your love for them is the greatest treasure; love them with all your heart and soul. And remember – One for all, all for one!

Never afraid to take risk

Whether you want to build a life or career, never hesitate in taking risks and always stake for your claim. To succeed in life, it is important to become a leader and leaders are those who always come up with Innovative ideas. A true leader is someone who never afraid to stand alone in the crowd.

Never forget your roots

Always accept yourself with all your flaws and quality. No matter how successful you are, you must never forget where you come from. Be open-minded and curious to learn new things about other people, places, and things that are different from what you have learned so far or grew up with. Always be a student.

Marriage is not a fairy tale but you can make it

Every woman has a dream of a fairy-tale, but it never happened in actual life. You are two different people with two different personalities and traits. To have a fairy tale life you both need to work together. When you start loving each other’s defects and know how to be patient with each other, everything will become beautiful. Keep trying to win each other every day until your last breath.

Support your partner even when he fails

No one is perfect and everyone has to face failure in life. Most of the people face it numerous times. If someday your partner faces the same, become his pillar and support him through every thick and thin. Men are not expressive, but they always need you when they are low, whether they say it or not.  Pick him up and do not let him dwell on the past.

Connections are necessary

We are not here to live an isolated life. We all need people around us, but yes, people with positive energy. Cultivate strong relationships with everyone by acknowledging them and showing gratitude to them. Life becomes meaningful only when people around you celebrate you, and you celebrate them.

Learn to remain calm in every situation

My mother always has a steady, calm nature that allowed her to face every difficult situation. To prosper in life, it is necessary for every individual to build this inner strength and ease. Instant reaction to every situation usually ruined things, but staying calm, always control situations and make things better. This internal calm can help you to stay focused throughout your life.

Be your children’s best friend

A child is never too old for a mother’s lap, especially when he goes through heartbreak, failure, made wrong decisions, or trusted the wrong people. A mother should always be her child’s best friend and first critic so that kids do need to trust other people in a selfish world. She is the only one who can help her children in building a good character, and when a hurricane comes into a child’s life, she must be there with an umbrella to save her child.

Final Words

When it comes to a mother’s love, every mother’s love is the same. We should never lose an opportunity to show our gratitude to them for their love and for making us a better human being. We could never repay their sacrifices and love, but at least we could honor them in every possible way.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers!
